—Advertising spots via NFTs using Harberger Taxes. In a Harberger tax, the owner of the NFT or other asset sets a sale price for which anyone can buy the asset from them, and they get regularly taxed proportionally to that sale price (eg. the tax could be 3% of the sale price per year).
—Add in form of a bid on the Digital collectible, following the model of Prode.eth adds.
eBook reader integration
The core idea is to integrate an e-reader into the dapp or to a general e-book reader that allows the holders of the NFT (book) to enjoy their book. Is also part of a MKT & growth path onto the journey of decentralizing access of users to books and earnings to authors.
Low entry barriers
Bookverse is for all. That is why we will enable payment with Apple pay, Google Pay, and credit card besides non-custodial wallets.
This allows all non-crypto-friendly users to have the benefits of owning an NFT (and their benefits) without needing to even know what a blockchain is or having a wallet.
Identity & On Chain reputation system for authors & readers.
Being able to certify our users (authors and readers) identity in a decentralized and effective is a key part of providing security on our platform. To achieve this, we will use proven systems such as https://www.proofofhumanity.org/ or https://www.brightid.org/ .
Privacy
We are also considering implementing Zero Knowledge proofs to allow anonymous authors to certify the book they are trying to sell it’s from them without needing to reveal their identity.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the end, we merge the best of both worlds: By removing the middle man while having a 100% transparent and traceable market, everyone can see how many copies of a book are out there. Who is selling it, at what price was the last sale, the demand for the book on the secondary market, what benefits that the author provides to the book (NFT) holder, etc.
All this while having direct and real contact with the counterparty and high-speed when publishing or buying a book.
